John Corby is an Australia painter based in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney. He is a self-taught artist who admires the fresh loose approach of the early Australian artists from the Heidelberg School, headed up by Streeton and Roberst. John paints primarily in oils, his subjects range from landscapes, seascapes and coastal scenes. His book "The Finishing Touch" is a tutorial on how to paint with oils. |
